Name Bookmarks

Our most recent review was for something slightly different than our usual review opportunities – Name Meaning Bookmarks from CrossTimber. My kids are so excited about these! We also received one set of Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets.
Ordering our custom name bookmarks was a simple process, though it did take awhile to make our design selections. The website is packed with options for bookmarks – animals, sports, flowers, Celtic symbols, beach scenes, and much more. Each bookmark is vertical by default, but many of the designs can also be printed horizontally, which can be helpful for long names.
For the bottom of the bookmark, you can choose between a Scripture verse, presidential quote, famous author quote, or character quality. For just $1, you can also use your own custom text.
The bookmarks are thick and laminated, and feel like they’ll hold up to a lot of (not so gentle) use. I paid a small upgrade fee to have ribbons added to our bookmarks, which my boys think makes them even more amazing.
CrossTimber is a small, family-operated business and their customer service is fabulous. If you want to know the meaning of a name before you order, just send them a message (they have a super easy pop-up box in the corner of the site) and they’ll get back with you about it right away! They’re even willing to work with you if you have a specific name meaning or verse that’s different from what’s most common. I was able to ask for a particular Scripture verse on my niece’s bookmark and they were cheerful and accommodating.
In addition to the Name Bookmarks, we also received a print and digital copy of the Amazing Name Activity Set. Since my 4-year-old is just starting to recognize his name, I chose to order this for him. The set includes 28 pages (14, front and back) all personalized with his name. There are mazes through the letters of his name, handwriting practice in both print and cursive, coloring pages, and more.
With the digital file, you can print the pages that you think are best for your child now, and save the more difficult pages for the future.
